Parent and Family Support for their Gifted Child

These are guided groups for parents of gifted children. Our trained facilitators will help you better understand your child. Parenting is hard, and having a gifted child can make it even tougher. In these sessions, you'll learn about the characteristics of gifted children, including:

• Communication,

• Relationships and friendships,

• Self-management,

• Intensity and perfectionism,

• Motivation and underachievement, and

• Sibling relationships.

In addition, you'll enhance parenting skills to nurture the self-concept and emotional development of talented children and their families.
